Panama national team head coach Thomas Christiansen Tarín has reportedly expressed interest in becoming the next head coach of Ghana’s senior national football team, the Black Stars.

The development comes as the Ghana Football Association (GFA) continues its search for a new manager to lead the national team following the departure of Carlos Queiroz.

Christiansen, who has experience managing national teams and clubs, is reportedly among the latest prominent figures linked to the vacant coaching position. His reported application could add another international name to the list of potential candidates being considered for the important role.

Ghana is expected to appoint a suitable coach capable of rebuilding the team, improving its performances and preparing the players for upcoming international competitions.

The Black Stars remain one of Africa’s most recognised football teams, with a rich history that includes four Africa Cup of Nations titles. However, expectations from supporters remain high, with many calling for a coach who can restore the team's competitive strength and deliver consistent results.

Christiansen's reported interest is likely to generate discussion among Ghanaian football fans, particularly regarding the experience and tactical approach he could bring to the national team.

However, his reported application does not necessarily mean he will be selected for the position. The final decision will depend on the Ghana Football Association's recruitment process and assessment of the available candidates.

For now, supporters will be watching closely as the search for the next Black Stars head coach continues.
