Supercomputer Predicts 2026/27 Premier League Table After Gameweek Nine Results

According to a report by GiveMeSport on November 2, 2026, Arsenal are predicted to retain the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City in the 2026/27 season, following Opta’s Supercomputer’s latest projections after the conclusion of Gameweek Nine.

Mikel Arteta’s side are expected to finish the campaign at the top of the table with 81 points, nine points ahead of Manchester City, who are projected to collect 72 points.

Arsenal have enjoyed an impressive start to their title defence, winning eight of their opening nine league matches. Their victory over Liverpool at Anfield has further strengthened their position as favourites to lift the trophy.

Manchester City are predicted to finish second despite suffering consecutive defeats against Aston Villa and Brighton. Meanwhile, Brighton are among the biggest surprises in the latest projection, with Fabian Hurzeler’s side expected to secure third place with 67 points after recording victories over both Arsenal and City.

Liverpool are tipped to complete the top four with 63 points, while Chelsea are projected to finish fifth with 60 points. Xabi Alonso’s side have struggled for consistency, suffering defeats against Arsenal, Brentford and Tottenham, alongside a draw against Hull City.

Aston Villa and Bournemouth are expected to finish sixth and seventh respectively, both with 55 points, while Brentford, Tottenham and Newcastle are tipped to occupy the remaining positions in the top 10.

Manchester United are projected to finish 13th with 44 points under Michael Carrick, behind Everton and Leeds United.

At the bottom, Coventry City, Crystal Palace and Sunderland are predicted to suffer relegation, with Coventry expected to finish last on 41 points.
