According to a report by Barca Universal on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Barcelona could receive around €11 million if Paris Saint Germain sign former winger Ez Abde from Real Betis during the January transfer window.

According to Spanish newspaper SPORT, PSG are considering the Moroccan international as a possible replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who has reportedly suffered a serious knee injury.

The French champions are reviewing their attacking options ahead of January, with Abde among the players being considered by manager Luis Enrique.

However, PSG’s reported interest does not mean a transfer is guaranteed, as no agreement has been reached.

Real Betis are reportedly unwilling to sell the 24 year old winger for a low fee. The Spanish club demanded at least €55 million for him during the summer transfer window, while his release clause is reportedly set at €60 million.

Barcelona could benefit from the potential deal because they included a 20 per cent sell-on clause in the agreement when Abde joined Betis in September 2023 for €7.5 million.

If Betis sell the winger for €55 million, Barcelona could receive approximately €11 million under the reported agreement.

The payment would provide the Catalan club with a financial boost without requiring them to negotiate a new transfer deal.

Abde has impressed with his performances for Betis, and PSG’s interest could give the Spanish side an opportunity to secure a substantial transfer fee.

However, Barcelona will only receive the expected amount if PSG decide to pursue the winger and reach an agreement with Betis. Until then, the potential payment remains dependent on how the transfer situation develops.
