Arsenal are reportedly preparing to intensify their pursuit of Bournemouth forward Junior Kroupi after Paris Saint Germain emerged as another major contender for the highly rated youngster.
According to a report by Football London on Monday, November 2, 2026, the Gunners are increasingly interested in securing the 20 year old's signature as competition for his services continues to grow across Europe.
Kroupi is currently working towards regaining full fitness after missing the beginning of the season because of a foot injury. However, his impressive performances during the previous campaign have maintained his reputation as one of the most promising young attacking players in European football.
Bournemouth signed the French forward from Lorient for approximately £12 million last year, and he quickly proved to be an excellent investment. He scored 13 Premier League goals during the 2025/26 season, attracting attention from several major European clubs.
The Cherries managed to resist interest in both Kroupi and midfielder Alex Scott during the summer transfer window. However, the club could face renewed approaches for their important players in January or next summer.
Bournemouth are reportedly determined to retain Kroupi until the end of the current campaign, making a January transfer unlikely. Consequently, next summer is considered a more realistic opportunity for interested clubs to negotiate a deal.
Arsenal view the youngster as a potential addition to their attacking options, particularly amid uncertainty surrounding Viktor Gyokeres. The Swedish striker has reportedly considered leaving the Premier League during the January transfer window.
Speaking to Football Insider, journalist Pete O'Rourke revealed that Arsenal could accelerate their interest because PSG have also identified Kroupi as a potential transfer target.
"Arsenal are big admirers of him, and there's also big interest from PSG as well in Junior Kroupi," O'Rourke said.
He suggested that several leading European clubs could become involved in the race, although Bournemouth's determination to keep the forward makes an immediate departure difficult.
Kroupi has previously spoken about his ambition to play for some of the biggest clubs in world football.
"I'm going to give my all to play for the biggest clubs in the world, in the best leagues in the world," he said.
The youngster also revealed that featuring in the Premier League had been a childhood dream that eventually became a personal ambition.
Despite the growing transfer speculation, Kroupi remains committed to Bournemouth and has expressed his determination to give everything for the club's supporters while helping the team achieve its objectives.
Arsenal could therefore face strong competition from PSG and other European sides if they decide to make a formal move for the talented French forward next summer.
