Bechem United forward Augustine Okrah opened his goal account for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season after finding the back of the net in his side’s 2-1 away defeat to Heart of Lions.

The experienced attacker scored his first goal of the campaign in the Matchday encounter, although his effort was not enough to prevent Bechem United from suffering defeat against the Kpando-based outfit.

Despite the disappointing result, Okrah continues to demonstrate his importance to Bechem United, with his creativity and attacking contributions making him one of the team’s influential players this season.

The former Ghana international has now been directly involved in eight goals across the campaign, registering seven assists and one goal.

His impressive assist tally highlights his playmaking abilities and importance in creating scoring opportunities for his teammates, while his latest strike adds another dimension to his attacking contribution.

Okrah’s return to the scoresheet will come as a major boost to Bechem United as they look to improve their performances and results in the ongoing league campaign.

The experienced attacker will now be hoping to build on his first goal of the season and maintain his impressive contribution as the Hunters continue their pursuit of positive results in the Ghana Premier League.
