Ghanaian referee Derrick Kwatei Quartey will serve as Reserve Assistant Referee for the Futsal AFCON final between Morocco and Angola in Rabat on October 21, 2026.

The match will begin at 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT), and the appointment represents the first major final of Quartey’s refereeing career.

Tunisian official Abdelakram El Hentati has been chosen as Referee, with South Africa’s Sipho Machbeth Mahlangu appointed Referee 2 and Cameroon’s Eric Elingui Mindjih named Referee 3.

Libya’s Mohammed Alsertawi will work as Time Keeper.

Quartey’s selection marks another step in his progress through African refereeing and provides a significant moment for Ghanaian officiating on the continental stage.
