The Billy Goats have reportedly placed the former Arsenal man on their wishlist in an effort to reinforce their forward options with his acquisition in the forthcoming winter transfer window

Bundesliga club FC Köln are eyeing London-born Ghana-target Eddie Nketiah from Premier League side Crystal Palace ahead of the January transfer window, a report in the German media has claimed.

The 27-year-old forward, who swapped the Gunners for the Glaziers in the summer of 2024, has now become a focal point in the setup of those utilising the Selhurst Park in the English top-flight after spending two seasons together so far.

According to German tabloid newspaper SPORT BlLD, with the injury crisis of FC Köln's attacking department, those in charge of recruitment at the RheinEnergieStadion are now considering making a January move for the former Leeds United loanee as he fits in their immediate short-term plans for the rest of the 2026-27 campaign, having impressed them with his outstanding performances upon their data scouting analysis on him.

The ex-Chelsea Youth star has so far bagged 1 goal and assisted 1 in 8 appearances across all competitions for Crystal Palace in this current 2026-27 football season.

On the international stage, the Ghana FA are believed to be working assiduously to secure his international allegiances from England to Ghana, by playing for the Ghana national football team, the Black Stars at the international level given his Ghanaian heritage.
