3 burning questions from Real Madrid's 4-1 Champions League win vs RB Leipzig

Real Madrid picked up right where they left off after their 4-1 hammering of Sevilla over the weekend with an emphatic 4-1 hammering of RB Leipzig, yet another all-around solid team performance from Los Blancos. Bernardo Silva's first goal for Real Madrid, the usual Kylian Mbappe goal, and masterclass performances from Arda Guler and Yan Diomande give Real Madrid plenty of momentum as they head into El Clasico this weekend.

While the scoreline shows yet another solid performance, there are still some questions to be asked about Real Madrid as they finally start to find their form this season. Here are three burning questions from Real Madrid's impressive Champions League win over RB Leipzig:

Real Madrid stay perfect with Champions League win over Leipzig

1. Is it time Real Madrid cut their losses with Vinicius Junior?

It's honestly getting quite tiring to still be talking about Vinicius Junior, but given his star power and everything that comes with him, it's hard not to. The Brazilian's form still hasn't improved, still managing just one goal so far this season, and he was a non-factor yet again in Real Madrid's match against Leipzig. He had a good shot or two, but other than that, he failed to make any impact and hasn't at all lived up to the massive extension he forced the club to give him in the summer.

He came off in the 70th minute and was replaced by Yan Diomande, who went on to score a sensational goal and also grab an assist. The Ivorian did more in 20 minutes than Vinicius has done all season and has been looking like the far better option to start games, which begs the question: should Real Madrid just stick with Diomande and move on from Vinicius? The team plays better without the Brazilian, and with his attitude issues surely to get worse as he gets subbed off more often, it could be in Real Madrid's best interest to cash in on Vinicius and move forward without him.

2. Is Arda Guler actually Real Madrid's best player?

While other players like Kylian Mbappe and Thibaut Courtois may be more important to Real Madrid than Arda Guler, the Turkish international may actually be the best player in the team. He's playing like a man possessed this season, bagging three goals and five assists. His level of play in any given game has a visible impact on the team as a whole, and when he isn't playing, his absence is painfully obvious. He is exactly the creative mind the team needs, and thankfully for Real Madrid, he is playing at his very best this season.

3. Is Real Madrid ready for El Clasico?

Real Madrid have their biggest game of the season this weekend as they travel to Barcelona for the first El Clasico of the season, a game that just a few weeks ago they didn't seem up for the task, but that may well have changed. Real Madrid are four wins from four since returning from the international break, while Barcelona are coming off their first loss of the season, a 4-2 thumping from PSG, which could play on their mindset heading into the weekend. Real Madrid have been playing more unified and like a team in their last two matches, the perfect way to head into a game where they are projected to be major underdogs.

Coming away from the Camp Nou with all three points will be a tough task, but off the back of the last two results, it seems more within reach than it did after the loss to Atletico Madrid, so an upset could be in the cards if Jose Mourinho plays his right.
