According to a report from Fightful Select, a source at the WWE Performance Center described AJ Styles as a regular and positive presence at the facility. It is also said the Hall of Famer’s involvement is more than just making occasional visits.

The report also notes Styles is expected to have more influence within the scouting department.

Fightful Select’s report additionally notes that, “AJ Styles is expected to gain more influence in WWE scouting, while Bobby Roode has been considered for a role similar to those held by Bruce Prichard or Michael Hayes.” However, it was added that nothing at this time has been finalized regarding Roode’s potential position.

The report also denied rumors Styles had taken charge of the Performance Center and that he recently stepped in to finish a class, which is said to have led to speculation on how much responsibility he has backstage. Fightful Select stated, “A source denies rumors that Styles has been running the Performance Center, but he filled in to finish a class recently. They also called him a constant and positive presence at the PC.”

Wrestleview will provide more details as they become available on Styles’ future role in WWE.
