It’s way too early for that, but things are looking up for interim coach Aaron Danks. Apparently, Karl Heinz Rummenigge has already gifted him a very special pen to sign a deal as new head coach!

And word on the streets is Bayern brass are planning to send outgoing coach Vincent Kompany to Belize or where Mike went (different sources telling us different things!) Which, if true, it’d be eerily similar to the 2019–20 season. But, jokes aside, a lot of fans are saying the last time Bayern played like this was in 2020 when Hamsi Flick worked his first games as interim head coach!

Still, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We beat PSG away with 10 men and went 45 minutes without El Lucho, but we still lost to them in the semifinal. As the saying goes, don’t count your chickens before they hatch.

Overall, though, I’m just happy nobody’s talking about squad depth anymore!
