Tresoldi is developing a reputation as one of the best young strikers in Europe having scored 13 goals in 15 games for Brugge this season.

Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg claims Arsenal are one of a number of clubs who are keeping tabs on the 22-year-old.

AC Milan are also being linked with Tresoldi, who grew up supporting the Serie A heavyweights, according to his father Emanuele.

Gazzetta understands Milan owner Gerry Cardinale has made Tresoldi his dream signing following his hat-trick against their rivals Inter in October.

However, Belgian giants Brugge have reportedly told Milan they will not allow the Germany Under-21 international to leave in January.

Report: Brugge could increase Tresoldi asking price

Gazzetta also suggests Brugge could demand more than €50million (£41.6m) for Tresoldi next summer, given his blistering form in 2026-27.

That follows an earlier report from Plettenberg who claimed Barcelona were quoted that figure when making an enquiry for Tresoldi in the summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal continue to be linked with a number of forwards ahead of the transfer window reopening in two months’ time.

The Mirror understands the Gunners remain interested in signing Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi and Kenan Yildiz of Juventus.

Arsenal were linked with both players in the summer as they pushed to make a marquee addition to their forward line.

The Premier League champions also pursued Atletico Madrid marksman Julian Alvarez and Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior.

Despite missing out on signing a big-name forward, Arsenal have made a strong start to the season, winning 12 of their 15 games in all competitions.

Mikel Arteta's men are looking to record a 13th victory this season when they travel to Slavia Praha in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Tresoldi, on the other hand, will look to add to his impressive goal tally when Brugge head to PSV Eindhoven in the same competition on the same day.
