Newcastle United will be in the draw for the Carabao Cup quarter-finals this week, even before their fourth-round game at Everton is played. The Magpies' travel to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Thursday night to play the last of this week's fourth-round fixtures.

However, while there is no official confirmation yet, the draw for the last eight is expected to take place on Wednesday night following the midweek fixtures, so Newcastle - and Everton - will be in the hat.

It means both sides will already know what lies ahead should they win, with a place in the last eight up for grabs.

United head to Merseyside buoyed by their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday, but knowing they need to add consistency to their performances, with Everton then coming to Tyneside for Monday night's Premier League clash.

Here's all you need to know ahead of the midweek fixtures.

Bradford City host Peterborough United, with a huge tie awaiting the winners of that game, while Premier League heavyweights Liverpool and Chelsea go head-to-head. League Two strugglers Fleetwood Town will be looking to take a huge scalp when they host Arsenal.
