Newcastle United head coach Matthias Jaissle expects to have two players added to his squad for Saturday's Premier League clash at Fulham, although must head to Craven Cottage without the suspended Jacob Ramsey.

Jaissle is still searching for the right combination to get the best from his Magpies squad, and has had plenty of injury issues to deal with since arriving in the summer.

However, he will welcome back £51m summer signing Mathias Fernandez-Pardo into the squad for the trip to West London, with young midfielder Lewis Miley also on the verge of a return.

Full-back Tino Livramento is also closing in on a full recovery following his latest injury setback, leaving just one long-term absentee. Here's the latest picture ahead of Saturday's match.

Mathias Fernandez-Pardo

The young Belgian forward is yet to show what he can do in a Newcastle shirt, with illness keeping him out of the squad in recent weeks. While he struggled to make an impact as a central striker, he looked promising in a wider role against Aston Villa.

He returned to training last weekend, but was not ready to make the squad for Everton. However, Fernandez-Pardo is expected to make the travelling party for Fulham.

Expected return: Fulham (a), November 7

Tino Livramento

The England defender has had a tough 2026 in terms of injury, but is hopeful of a return in the coming weeks. Jaissle admitted United were being cautious with Livramento to ensure he had no further setbacks, and while he could be in contention for Fulham, a more likely return could come against Arsenal following the international break.

Expected return: Arsenal (h), November 21

Lewis Miley

Miley has missed the last three games with a glutes issue, but should be ready to resume action at Craven Cottage. He had played full-back during Amar Dedic's injury, but now faces a battle to win a place in United's midfield, with Joelinton, Nico Gonzalez and Sean Steur already in contention.

Expected return: Fulham (a), November 7

Jacob Ramsey

The former Aston Villa midfielder will have to sit out the game at Fulham after being sent off with virtually the last kick of the game against Everton. He will only serve a one-match ban as the dismissal was for two yellow cards, and so will return to the squad against Arsenal.

Return: Arsenal (h), November 21

Ewen Jaouen

The young French goalkeeper still has several weeks of recovery before he can take his place in the squad after he picking up a hamstring injury while on international duty with France U21s.

Jaissle confirmed Jaouen will have several months of the sidelines, with a mid-December return pencilled in at this stage.

Expected return: December
