The Boro boss said:

"I think Wrexham are a very strong team, and they have been good at home. They beat Southampton, they beat Preston, they were up against West Brom in a game they lost late.

"So at home they've been very, very strong. They are a physical team. I know from playing them last season there, they get the crowd going, they are a front-footed team, they work very very hard, and there's a lot of good players in the team.

"It's always going to be a tough challenge. They have a good coach who's done absolutely brilliant through a long period of time, which you have to applaud.

"It’s a team that are going to come at us and, as always in the Championship, playing away from home is always tough. It's going to need the best from us."
