Celtic have to quickly forget about the defeat to Falkirk because they face a stern and tricky test against Beşiktaş in the Europa League on Thursday night.
While Beşiktaş are sitting in the top eight of the league phase and dreaming of automatic qualification into the knockout stages, Celtic are staring at elimination.

That’s why Sinisalo needs to return to the XI, and hopefully, he keeps his place between the sticks in the near future.
| Player | Games played | Goals conceded | Clean sheets | Save percentage in the Premiership | Save percentage in the Europa League |
| Sinisalo | 13 | 17 | 5 | 83.9% | 46.2% |
| Johnstone | 6 | 10 | 1 | 58.3% | 50 % |
But the big change that needs to be made in the middle of the park, and that’s McGregor making way and Benjamin Nygren returning.
Nygren was dropped to the bench for Celtic’s defeat to Falkirk, but with the team still lacking without the ball without the Swedish star, you might as well keep him in the XI, because at least he is a massive goal threat.
Kasper Hogh will be desperate for a goal, but he still shouldn’t start ahead of Camilo Duran, while Haissem Hassan deserves more respect and should keep his place out wide.
The bigger issue with all of this is the lack of options for O’Neill to pick from, and that’s where the recruitment needs to come under fire because it’s dire.
