Cole Palmer has been left out of the England squad ahead of the upcoming international break. The Chelsea midfielder, who withdrew from the last camp due to a minor injury, has been overlooked by Thomas Tuchel as the Three Lions hope to win Group A3 of the UEFA Nations League.
England will begin by hosting Croatia at Wembley Stadium on Thursday, November 12, before facing Spain at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano on Sunday, November 15. As it stands, Luis de la Fuente's side lead the group by three points, having won each of their four games.
The Three Lions trail in second place with nine points. So long as England defeat Slaven Bilic's side in the capital on Thursday, the clash in Madrid on Sunday will crown the winner of the group.
Following the conclusion of the league phase, the winners and runners-up in each League A group will advance to the quarter-finals. The ties, played over two legs, home and away, are scheduled for March, before the winners lock horns in June in the form of semi-finals, a third-place play-off, and a final.

Unfortunately for Palmer, this month, he has been denied the chance not only to feature for England but also to help his country reach the knockout stages of a major competition. Morgan Rogers, however, has been called up by the Three Lions boss, making him the only Chelsea representative.
