Predicted line-ups for Premier League teams in Matchweek 10

Football writer Ben Bloom is predicting how every Premier League team will line up in Matchweek 10. More line-ups will be added throughout Friday afternoon as Premier League managers hold their pre-match press conferences and reveal the latest team news.

Everton: David Moyes suggested Jarrad Branthwaite will require a check to see if he can play this. Should he not make it, expect Michael Keane to come in, unless Jake O’Brien shifts to centre-back and Merlin Rohl moves into right-back. It would be no surprise to see the same XI that beat Newcastle, with Brennan Johnson and Hayden Hackney on the bench. Jack Grealish remains unavailable.

Coventry: Frank Lampard was distinctly cagey about the availability of Bobby Thomas and Frank Onyeka, saying “we’ll see” if they make it. Given last week’s win and the upcoming international break, it may well be that he gives them more time before returning, unless he wants Thomas to play in a rejigged back three. Otherwise it is difficult to see why any changes are required, unless Brandon Thomas-Asante or Sidiki Cherif muscle their way back in.

Leeds: Daniel Farke delivered a detailed player update ahead of this encounter, with Noah Okafor and Anton Stach “major doubts”, James Justin and Gabriel Gudmundsson given the all clear, and the manager stating he is “carefully optimistic” that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be available. Joe Rodon is also back in full training. If neither Okafor nor Stach make it, expect Brenden Aaronson, Daniel James, Harry Wilson and Lukas Nmecha to battle for two spots.

Spurs: Team news to come

Hull: Matt Crooks is suspended for this after picking up five yellow cards, while Hidemasa Morita is unlikely to be involved due to a niggle. Sergej Jakirovic may well stick with the same XI that drew against Ipswich last weekend. Jack Butland did not make that matchday squad, but could return here.

Arsenal: Team news to come

Fulham: Fulham put in one of their best performances of the season last weekend, so expect little, if anything, to change here. Ryan Sessegnon is available again after serving a ban and will challenge Antonee Robinson at left-back. Hugo Larsson and Cesar Palacios are options for Sander Berge in central midfield, while striker Gonzalo Garcia continues to keep Rodrigo Muniz out of the team despite not scoring.

Newcastle: With just one win in five games across all competitions, Mathias Jaissle could change plenty. One, or both, centre-back could be replaced, while few at the attacking end are certain of their position. Joelinton has been ruled out, Jacob Ramsey is suspended, Matias Fernandez-Pardo could be available after “a really heavy virus”, while Lewis Miley “is getting better” after injury. Yoane Wissa might come in for either Joe Willock or William Osula.

Nott'm Forest: Goals continue to be Forest’s primary issue, so it will be interesting to see if Oliver Glasner switches things up in the attacking end. Igor Jesus has trained all week and “looked good”, according to the manager, but Nicolas Dominguez has been ruled out for eight weeks. Daniel Munoz will hope to return to the starting XI, while Ousmane Diomande could also earn a recall.

Man City: Marc Guehi started in midweek, but lost his Premier League spot last weekend and could miss out again here in a battle for one centre-back spot with Abdukodir Khusanov. Ayyoub Bouaddi came off the bench on Wednesday night, and he could well start there again, with Enzo Fernandez moved back to accommodate another attacking player. As always, there is not enough room for all of Enzo Maresca’s attacking players.

Brighton: Having seen off Man City last weekend, expect a similar looking line-up here, if not exactly the same. Fabian Hurzeler said he has a “big hope” that Ferdi Kadioglu is available, but Costinha or Mats Wieffer will start at right-back if not. Hurzeler has more attacking options available now with the return of Jack Hinshelwood and Yankuba Minteh, while Maxim De Cuyper can move back into defence, but few changes appear likely.

Brentford: There is no guarantee of Yehor Yarmoliuk’s recall on his return from suspension, but he will hope to displace Mamadou Sangare. Jaidon Anthony could earn a starting spot at the expense of Dango Ouattara, but it was a strong Brentford victory last weekend so Keith Andrews may well keep much of his team the same.

Crystal Palace: Jean-Philippe Mateta’s suspension means one of Jorgen Strand Larsen or Eddie Nketiah will lead the line. Axel Disasi was omitted from midweek duties after an unspecified 'internal decision', but Pierre Sage confirmed he will be available for this. Quentin Timber returned from injury in that match, which saw Daichi Kamada move higher up the pitch and Dwight McNeil miss out. Oscar Mingueza versus Anan Khalaili seems like a 50/50 call.

Liverpool: Team news to come

Bournemouth: Marco Rose continued his usual midweek rotation, while securing another victory, but all his big guns will return here. The only two question marks are whether Junior Kroupi is ready to start after gaining minutes off the bench, and who, of Ryan Christie and Lewis Cook, gets the nod in central midfield. Alex Scott could return to the matchday squad for the first time.

Ipswich: Team news to come
