The Whites stormed into the second round of the FA Cup for the first time with a 6-0 victory over Sholing FC.
Nathan Odokonyero opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark, and from there, Salisbury never looked back in a commanding performance at the Ray Mac.
Josh Hedges doubled the lead from the penalty spot just minutes later, before Jeremy Sivi made it three with a stunning long-range effort.
Odokonyero grabbed his second early in the second half, before late goals from Luke Russe and Jaiden Bartolo rounded off the emphatic win.
The Whites started brightly, with Malachi Ogunleye forcing an early save and Odokonyero testing the Sholing goalkeeper with a long-range effort.
Despite dominating possession, it took until the 32nd minute for Salisbury to break the deadlock.
Odokonyero found the net to give the hosts a deserved lead.
Just three minutes later, Hedges converted from the spot to double the advantage.
Sivi then made it 3-0 with a spectacular strike from 35 yards out, leaving the Sholing keeper with no chance.
Salisbury went into the break firmly in control, and they picked up where they left off in the second half.
Odokonyero scored his second of the afternoon in the 53rd minute, finishing confidently after being played through by Hedges.
Dutton made a series of substitutions to keep the side fresh, bringing on Russe, Bartolo, Yacou Traore, Mo Dabre, and Jordan Alonge.
The changes did little to slow Salisbury’s momentum.
Bartolo set up Russe for the fifth goal in the 89th minute, before getting on the scoresheet himself in stoppage time to make it 6-0.
Sholing’s only real chance of the match came late on, but their effort sailed harmlessly over the bar.
The result extends Salisbury’s unbeaten run to 14 games and secures their place in the second round of the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history.
