Thomas Tuchel has announced his 25-man England squad for the November international break, with Morgan Rogers the only Chelsea player included. Cole Palmer is the biggest absentee, while Jordan Henderson, Levi Colwill and Josh Acheampong may all feel hard done by.
Palmer came under scrutiny after withdrawing from the England squad in September with a muscle injury, and Tuchel has reiterated that he missed his chance to impress. The Three Lions won three of their four matches during the last international break, including a 7-0 victory over Croatia.
“We have enough number 10s and we stick to the guys who were in the previous camp because we were happy with the two and a half weeks we had together,” Tuchel explained when asked about leaving Palmer out. However, the former Chelsea manager has also selected two new attacking midfielders: Josh King and Jobe Bellingham.

Cole Palmer and three other Chelsea stars snubbed! What do you make of Thomas Tuchel's England squad? 🤔 Morgan Rogers does makes the squad, though.
Thomas Tuchel has named 22 outfield players in his latest England squad, including six attacking midfielders. These include Chelsea’s £117 million summer signing Morgan Rogers, who has hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge with 10 goal contributions already.
Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham was England’s talisman at the World Cup and was always expected to be named in the squad, and probably the starting XI. He will now be joined by his brother Jobe for the first time following his impressive start to the season with Borussia Dortmund, who remain unbeaten in the Bundesliga.
Tuchel has kept his faith in Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White and Arsenal’s Eberechi Eze after including them in the previous England camp. Neither are having a particularly strong 2026/27 campaign, but the German manager clearly likes what he has seen from them.
| Player | Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Jude Bellingham | Real Madrid | 15 | 5 | 4 |
| Morgan Rogers | Chelsea | 12 | 6 | 4 |
| Morgan Gibbs-White | Notts Forest | 8 | 1 | 2 |
| Eberechi Eze | Arsenal | 13 | 2 | 1 |
| Jobe Bellingham | Dortmund | 14 | 0 | 3 |
| Josh King | Fulham | 11 | 2 | 2 |
| Cole Palmer | Chelsea | 11 | 5 | 3 |
Josh King has impressed for Chelsea’s West London rivals Fulham over the last 12 months, but many will be surprised by his inclusion ahead of Cole Palmer. However, the 19-year-old, who has two goals and two assists this season, is versatile and also helped out during England’s pre-World Cup training camp.
Although Palmer has not been at his best this season and his statistics have been boosted by two penalties, he is very unlucky to have missed out. Everyone knows he is capable of producing magical moments – more than most of those selected ahead of him, with the possible exception of Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers.
