Edinburgh's unbeaten start to this season's URC was ended by Benetton in Italy, while a bonus-point victory for Glasgow Warriors against the Lions sent Franco Smith's side top of the table.

There have also been a couple of changes to Gregor Townsend's Scotland set-up, with Glasgow flanker Jamie Ritchie and Newcastle Red Bulls prop Elliot Millar Mills dropping out of the Nations Championship squad after picking up injuries.

Uncapped Ollie Blyth-Lafferty, fellow Edinburgh prop D'arcy Rae and back-row team-mate Freddy Douglas have been called up as replacements.
