Quiz! Who have taken six wickets for under 20 runs in post-War men’s Tests?

In this quiz, you have to name every bowler to have taken six wickets for fewer than 20 runs in an innings since 1946.

It is a pleasing sight in Test cricket when any bowler rips through the batting unit with a spell to remember for ages. While six-wicket hauls aren't rare in the longest format, it takes immense control to do it while conceding as few runs as possible.

Between the Second World War and October 30, 2026, there have been 24 instances of bowler taking six or more wickets for fewer than 20 runs in an innings in men’s Test cricket. The recent entry came from the South African spinner in Cape Town, helping his side hammer the Aussies by 176 runs.

The record for the fewest runs conceded for a six-for is held by a West Indies fast bowler, who picked 6-3 against Bangladesh in 2002. Apart from that, there have been four more instances of a bowler taking six wickets for under 10 runs.
