The match started fast, with the first chance leading to the opening goal.
Marley Rose picked up on a loose ball from the penalty area, flicked it over the head of a defender and shot low into the far corner for 1-0.
Town's advantage lasted just two minutes as Stephen Walsh struck from distance, with his strike hitting both posts as it went in.
The fast start continued as Town looked to react to the leveller.
Piotr Petrynski's cross from the left just missed the heads of both Martell Taylor-Crossdale and Dylan Jones.
An Evesham corner then found Brandon Liggett at the near post, with his header wide.
It was not long before Town re-took the lead, with a neat pass from Brad Selwood that sought Jones outside of the box. His low strike found the net despite a diving Brendan Beard. That strike marked Jones's first goal in Town colours.
Keen to extend his side's lead on his home debut, Brad Selwood had a shot from range deflected just past the top corner.
Soon after, a driving run from Marley Rose allowed him to cross for Taylor-Crossdale, who had a simple finish for a third first-half goal for Town.
The flurry of Town goals proved enough for the Evesham manager, with Brandon Liggett replaced by Josh Keyes in the first half.
It seemed that the match would slow down, with ten minutes of controlled Chippenham possession.
That calmness was broken on 37 minutes as Rose grabbed his second of the evening with a perfect strike from outside of the area nestling into the top corner.
The second half started with Kai Churchley smashing the ball against the post.
Joshua Marcon struck a corner from the left that was on target, before being nodded over the Evesham crossbar by a defender.
Another chance came as Marcon was involved again, with his distance strike just wide.
Evesham earned themselves one back with ten to play, as Sopuru Obieri tapped in from close range as Witchard palmed an effort in the forward's path.
The final moments of the game saw the introduction of Felix Miles, who was involved immediately.
He combined well with Rose, with the latter able to shoot, but his hat-trick effort was denied by a strong Evesham block.
This was Chippenham's third win of the league season, and the first time since September 2024 that Town have scored four goals in one half.
