Luis de la Fuente will unveil his final Spain squad of 2026 this Friday at the Metropolitano. La Roja face their concluding two UEFA Nations League group fixtures against the Czech Republic on 12 November and England on 15 November. The Spaniards lead their group with a flawless record and have already booked their place in the quarter-finals.
However, injuries to Rodri, Dani Olmo and Borja Iglesias have severely disrupted the manager's plans, while Eric Garcia remains a major doubt. Those absences could open the door for midfielders such as Pablo Barrios, Luis Milla, Nico Gonzalez or Isco to earn recalls or maiden call-ups to bolster the engine room.
De la Fuente must also resolve a dilemma surrounding Gavi, who has served his suspension but has seen little to no time time playing for Barcelona. On a brighter note, the coach is set to welcome back Pedro Porro, Nico Williams, Ferran Torres and Joan Garcia, who all missed the previous international camp through injury.
The squad announcement will also clear up any uncertainty over the continued selection of Dean Huijsen, Alejandro Grimaldo, Ivan Fresneda and Roberto Fernandez. Spain are due to report for duty next Monday at Las Rozas as they aim to wrap up top spot in the group.
