Week 10 will be a time for many star players in the Big Ten Conference to get back on the right track and propel their teams to a much-needed win. As the season winds down, Jeremiah Smith will need a few more outstanding games to help Ohio State, and I think Week 10 will give him the right situation to succeed.
Here are the players to watch in Week 10 of Big Ten football:
Chiles and the Northwestern Wildcats got off to a hot start last week, but unfortunately they could not keep that pace up for 4 quarters. Chiles will avenge last week's heartbreaking loss with a star-studded performance. Chiles will have 300+ total yards and at least 3 touchdowns in this game. Northwestern is a different team at home, and I think that will help them get the best out of a tough Iowa Hawkeyes team.
Tommy Carr was the reason the Michigan Wolverines didn't get upset against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights last week. This week he will repeat that same play and make up for the coaching issues that have plagued the Wolverines. He will have a great performance against a subpar Michigan State Spartans defense.
Demond Williams stepped in as a reliever late in the game last week, and he was the star of the game. Williams will get a full workload this week, and the confidence he gained last week will prompt him to have his best game of the season. He will look a lot like how he did last season. Williams will lead the Washington Huskies past the Penn State Nittany Lions in commanding fashion.
Ohio State Buckeyes have another pivotal game this week, and they cannot afford to lose this game if they want to keep their contention hopes alive. That fact alone will prompt a big game from the best player in college football. Jeremiah Smith will get a ton of targets, and he will make many highlight-reel plays. Last week hurt his Heisman campaign, but this week he will be receiving for 200 yards and multiple touchdowns. He will have the best performance in the Big Ten this week.
Luke Fahey will start again this week, but I think St. Clair this time around will get a decent amount of reps in this game. Fahey will struggle in the first half, and St. Clair will come in and save the Buckeyes. He and Jeremiah Smith will thrive together, and the Buckeyes' offense will get their spark back. St. Clair, just in the second half, will have a pretty impressive performance.
