Construction of the Riyadh Season Stadium for WWE Crown Jewel is underway despite regional security worries.
The 2026 WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event is scheduled for KAFD, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, November 7, 2026. As they did for Royal Rumble this year, the country’s General Entertainment Authority has begun constructing the Riyadh Season Stadium. This is a temporary outdoor venue for the show.
Newly surfaced social media footage shows that Riyadh Season Stadium’s construction is progressing at full speed. Work appears to be in its initial stages, with one post noting that construction has been underway for about a week.
With only two weeks left for the event, the construction must wrap up quickly. This will allow WWE’s staging and production crews onto the site.
The recent attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi rebel group on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh remain a concern ahead of WWE Crown Jewel. Authorities have instructed U.S. citizens traveling to and from the Middle East to exercise extreme vigilance. Recent reports indicate the promotion plans to proceed as originally planned. However, they have a backup location in the U.S. in case the show needs to be relocated.
Moreover, only two matches have been announced for Crown Jewel so far. World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns will take on Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will clash with WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green for the Women’s Crown Jewel Title.
