ELECTION Day coverage on MS Now didn’t start as many would expect.
Instead of debates about Republicans and Democrats, Joe Scarborough kicked things off with a rant about College GameDay.
Tuesday morning’s coverage of Election day started with a conversation about ESPN’s documentary about Nick Saban.
And in the process of discussing that topic, Scarborough had to make his feelings about Pat McAfee on College GameDay known.
“While we’re talking football, does anybody want to get in trouble? I’ll just say it myself,” Scarborough said.
“I’ve just had enough of this Pat McAfee ruining College GameDay.
“I look forward to waking up on Saturday mornings and watching that. And I don’t know if they haven’t got the message yet, but the manosphere that we all thought was brought in in ’24, it may get washed aside.
“Maybe you weren’t having to be [grunt noise] and yelling at people and being freaked out because two kids in Utah put up signs or say something that might offend you.”
Scarborough did share that he enjoys Saban on the show and even added support for Rece Davis and Kirk Herbstreit.
But he had no love to share for McAfee.
“They’re all great,” Scarborough said.
“And they’re all being eclipsed by ESPN’s insatiable desire to give this guy more time.”
