SANTI CAZORLA made a name for himself by putting in stunning displays on the football pitch – but now he has shown he can take his talent onto the ice rink.
The Spaniard, 41, announced his retirement just four months ago after enjoying a stunning career.
It means Cazorla, whose son Enzo made his professional debut for Real Oviedo last week, has more free time on his hands.
And the Arsenal legend decided to jet out to the USA to watch a showdown in the NHL.
Cazorla watched the New York Rangers come from behind to notch a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.
But the former midfielder was invited onto the Madison Square Garden ice rink before the clash.
The Rangers uploaded snaps and a video of Cazorla showing off his incredible keepy-up skills.
He also sported the historic New York franchise’s jersey while desperately trying to keep his balance on the slippery surface.
Fans reckon two-time European Championship winner Cazorla was brave to head onto the ice considering the amount of time he had to spend on the treatment table.
One said: “If I had this man’s history of injury I would not be walking around on ice.”

Another added: “Be careful with our Santi. Have you seen photos of his ankle? Maybe get him off the ice.”
A third chimed in: “Cazorla on the Garden ice is wild.”
And a fourth noted: “That’s one of my all-time favourite footballers right there. Wow I can’t believe he was at a hockey game in NYC.”
Cazorla made 180 appearances for Arsenal, notching 29 goals and 44 assists along the way.
The playmaker also got his hands on the FA Cup and Community Shield twice during his six-year spell with the Gunners.
Cazorla had three stints with Villarreal and featured for Recreativo de Huelva, Malaga, Al-Sadd and Oviedo before retiring.
