Football fans across Prague face a packed weekend schedule featuring high-stakes divisional matches, neighborhood rivalries, and top-flight clashes, according to local sporting previews. Pražský deník reported that the weekend program kicks off Friday evening with lower-tier matches before building toward premier divisional fixtures on Saturday and high-profile derbies on Sunday.

Top Saturday Division Matchup Sets the Table

The weekend’s standout morning fixture in the fourth tier features a top-of-the-table clash between Újezd Praha 4 and Chomutov on Saturday morning. Pražský deník noted that while the venue near Průhonice might be slightly out of the way for many residents across the city, the match offers both an original setting and a high-level contest between two leading sides in the standings.

Union Vršovice travels to face Radotín. Additional coverage detailed fixtures, including Motorlet Praha hosting Slavia Praha C in the third Czech Football League group A, and Kolovraty facing Zličín.

Sunday Derbies Highlight the Capital Schedule

Sunday morning brings a second-tier derby as Dukla Praha hosts Žižkov at Juliska Stadium, marking their first meeting in more than two years since Dukla competed in the top tier. Tomáš Klíma will referee the fixture between Dukla and Kladno.

The schedule features a clash between Bohemians and Sparta, while Slavia Praha prepares for its encounter against Mladá Boleslav at the Fortuna Arena.

Extensive Lower-Tier and Youth Schedules

Beyond the headline matches, the Prague Football Association schedule covers dozens of regional fixtures spanning from the sixth league down to the ninth tier, alongside youth and women’s competitions. Friday action includes regional contests such as Písnice welcoming Nebušice.
