Making her second start off an April layoff, Woodslane Racing LLC's SISTER TROIENNE (f, 3, Munnings–Dyna Passer, by Lemon Drop Kid) was kicked straight into the lead by Luis Saez in Friday's GII Bank of America Valley View Stakes at Keeneland and proved not for catching, earning an elusive first victory at the graded level.

Exiting a runner-up effort in the GIII Winter Memories Stakes at Belmont Oct. 1–her first run since a fifth as the favorite in this track's GII Appalachian Stakes back in April–the homebred chestnut bounced nicely from gate five and lobbed them along through an opening half-mile in :48.99.

Still cruising nicely in hand passing the quarter pole, Sister Troienne put a gap on the chasing group in upper stretch and although she remained on her incorrect lead through the final furlong, had enough in the tank for the victory.

Produced by a half-sister to Woodslane standouts Sadler's Joy (Kitten's Joy) and Wolfie's Dynaghost (Ghostzapper), Sister Troienne is the 34th graded stakes winner for Coolmore America's Munnings.

Lifetime Record: 10-6-2-1. O/B-Woodslane Farm (KY); T-Brian Lynch
