Former Super Bowl champ Cordarrelle Patterson was seen wearing a gray T-shirt and shorts while in handcuffs in photos obtained by TMZ from his arrest on a domestic assault charge early Saturday.
Patterson, a former four-time Pro Bowl running back and kick return specialist, had his hands restrained while in front of a home in Tennessee, where he allegedly had a domestic dispute with his wife, according to an arrest warrant obtained by the outlet.
The 35-year-old flashed a smile in his mugshot photo taken by the Sevier County jail.
Patterson’s wife called 911 and reported the incident.
She told police that he allegedly grabbed her by her hair and her arm, leaving her bruised, and she feared for her safety and the safety of her children, per the warrant.
The responding officer said he observed bruising on her left bicep, consistent with her claim.
Patterson was released the same day on a $1,000 bond.
The former first-round pick and Taylor Quick got married in July 2024, and they share two sons and a daughter.
Patterson was released by the Steelers last July after signing a two-year deal with Pittsburgh that April.
He was limited to 13 games due to an ankle injury in 2024, and played for the Vikings, Bears, Steelers, Falcons, Raiders and Patriots during his career.
Patterson and his wife have yet to address the matter publicly.
