Tony D’Angelo speaks on having to adjust to an ever changing roster in WWE NXT and adapting to the other roster members around him.

Tony has been in NXT for several years now, and has seen many wrestlers come and go to the WWE main roster. As of late, more names such as Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller have joined the young talent being signed to the companies developmental brand.

While speaking to Denise Salcedo in a new interview, Tony D’Angelo spoke about the ever changing roster in WWE NXT, noting that you have to be versatile while dealing with the shifting faces around you.

“Yeah. I think you have to be versatile and you have to be able to adjust, especially if you want to be in this job for a long time, you know, and I have seen a lot of people come and go and some people come in and they’re here for two seconds and then they get flung up to the main roster and then they got, you know, they were called up too early. They didn’t have enough experience and then people go, ‘ah, what the heck?’ Then they’re gone. Or, you know, they sit for too long and they don’t change their stuff up and then they eventually get passed on too. So like, yeah, you have to be versatile and be able to adapt for this job. I think that’s super important. But you also have to be coachable, and, you know, some people are stubborn, which I understand I can be stubborn at times as well. But, yeah, I think I’m very good at adapting to my situation, whatever I’m in.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Tony spoke about the character shift he has undergone in WWE NXT. You can read more about that here.
