Ghana have been paired with host Senegal, Mozambique and Uganda in Group A of the 2026 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
The draw, which was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2026, at CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, pitted Ghana against record holders and champions Senegal, fast-rising Mozambique and the enterprising Uganda in a tricky group.
The Black Sharks qualified for the tournament after beating arch-rivals Nigeria 10-7 on aggregate following a 3-3 draw in Nigeria and a 7-4 win in Keta. Qualification for the 2026 edition represents an important opportunity for Ghana to compete against the continent's best teams.
Ghana will open their Group A campaign against hosts and defending champions Senegal, who are the most successful team in the competition's history with seven titles. The Black Sharks will then face Mozambique, who have emerged as one of the continent's fastest-rising Beach Soccer nations, before concluding the group stage against Uganda.
The tournament will be played in Senegal, who will host the competition as both host and defending champions.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the winners progressing to the final and securing qualification for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
The Black Sharks last participated in the competition in 2024 and will be aiming to make a strong impression on their return to the continental stage.
