CAF Confirms 2026 Women’s Champions League Schedule in Egypt

The Confederation of African Football has confirmed the calendar for the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League, which will be staged in Egypt from November 1 to 15.

Every match time on the published programme is listed in Cairo local time. The competition will be played across two venues in Ismailia: Suez Canal Stadium and Ismailia Stadium.

Nigeria’s Edo Queens and Ghanaian club Ampem Darkoa are still contesting the WAFU B berth after the regional final was disputed. The delayed conclusion of that final has been set for October 29 in Cairo.

Whoever prevails will complete an eight-team field that already includes reigning champions AS FAR of Morocco, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim Ladies, USFAS Bamako from Mali, Morocco’s FUS Rabat, Cameroon’s Lekie Football Girls and hosts FC Masar.

The group phase is due to run from November 1 through November 8. The semi-finals will be played on November 11, followed by the third-place play-off on November 14 and the final the following day.

There is also a place on the global stage at stake. Africa’s champions will meet North Korea’s Naegohyang in the second round of the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in December.

For Edo Queens, winning the WAFU B place would offer the Nigerian side another chance to represent the country at continental level.
