I saw a lot of post-game analyses and fan vents, a lot of them didn’t even mention or only very lightly Lamine’s part in yesterday’s fever dream.

I love that guy a lot, but we need to be realistic. Lamine wants to be, or arguable is considered, our elite star. That place comes with extra spotlights and we should not shy away from criticism. His game yesterday was abysmal! Pedri’s first half and his performance were by far the worst on the field.

• always wants to do it too nice, while there are better options

• Doesn’t pass early enough

• When he passes, it’s not always the most effective one

• His dribbling was bad yesterday, normally one of his good assets.

• Tracking back was really bad, normally we accept this when he has a good game, but when he doesn’t deliver it hurts us double.

And I understand, he was fouled right and left and Cucu and EE got away with a lot, but we should not stop being realistic as well. If that guy wants to take that claim, he needs to improve A LOT and especially in the big games.

Oke, that was my vent. I had a horrible week with these two losses. Both games I had the feeling we didn’t come near our top level and there was much more in it for us. I will visit the Alaves game coming Saturday in Camp Nou with a bad aftertaste. At least I hope we will regain our form again.

And oh, one last thing. How the f can one support that anti-football EE of a club? Disgusting club and football.
