Accra Hearts of Oak have assured their players that all outstanding payments due to them will be settled before their next Ghana Premier League fixture against Debibi United, in a move aimed at addressing the financial concerns within the playing squad and ensuring the team remains focused on its upcoming assignment.

The assurance was given by the club’s Communications Director, Opare Addo, who emphasised that the club remains committed to meeting its financial obligations to the players. He stressed that every amount owed would be paid, assuring the playing body that management was working to ensure all outstanding payments were settled before the next match.

“Whatever is due the players, we will make sure it is paid to them. They will receive everything before the next match against Debibi United,” Opare Addo stated.

The statement is expected to provide reassurance to the players as they prepare for their next league encounter, with the club seeking to maintain stability and concentration within the squad. Timely payment of salaries, bonuses and other contractual entitlements remains an important aspect of player welfare, particularly as teams navigate the demanding nature of the domestic football season.

For Hearts of Oak, the commitment also places the spotlight on the club’s efforts to ensure that administrative and financial matters do not become a distraction from their performances on the pitch. The Phobians will be eager to approach the meeting with Debibi United with the necessary preparation and confidence as they continue their campaign in the Ghana Premier League.

Although Opare Addo did not specify the individual payments involved or disclose the total amount outstanding, his statement was clear that the club intended to settle all monies due to the players before the fixture.

The assurance will now be followed by expectations that management will fulfil its promise within the stated timeframe, allowing the players to concentrate fully on their responsibilities and deliver the desired performance against Debibi United.

With the next match approaching, attention will be on whether Hearts of Oak can honour the commitment and translate the renewed focus into a positive result on the field.
