The Ivory Coast national team has suffered a major setback ahead of the November international break, as starting left-back Ghislain Konan picked up an injury on Friday, October 23, while playing for his club, Wolverhampton, in the English Championship.

Due to his injury, the 30-year-old defender will be sidelined for at least four weeks. This absence deprives the Ivorian national team of one of its key players for upcoming matches.
