Terry Bradshaw can't hold it together after Tom Brady's latest FOX NFL Sunday expletive
Tom Brady was left stunned after realizing he had sworn live on the FOX broadcast

Terry Bradshaw could only burst into laughter as Tom Brady was caught out yet again for swearing live on FOX NFL Sunday.

Ahead of getting on the call for the unbeaten Minnesota Vikings’ trip to face the Detroit Lions, Brady tuned into the popular FOX pregame show to discuss the Week 8 slate with Drew Brees and the crew. But as audio issues disrupted his appearance, the seven-time Super Bowl champion could be seen mouthing words and trying to figure out what was going on.

All of a sudden, Brady could be heard saying: “Oh s---.” He immediately realized his error, shock and frustration written all over his face after hearing over the earpiece that his voice was being relayed to the broadcast.

The FOX NFL Sunday crew, including Michael Strahan and Bradshaw, burst into fits of laughter. Brady duly followed, cracking up at his misfortune after swearing on television for the second time across the 2026 season.

“We let you get away with it, by the way, Tom,” said Curt Menefee. “We heard you. That’s OK.”

Brady could only laugh through his embarrassment along with the rest of the FOX NFL Sunday team before Menefee added: “Thank you very much, have a great call!”

“That’s what live TV is about,” Strahan chimed in through his own chuckles. “You know it’s live!” Strahan said.

“He’s learning,” Menefee said, defending Brady.

It’s unclear if Brady will be punished for his X-rated language - especially given it’s his second incident. His comment directly violates the Federal Communications Commission’s indecency rules, although he may be given some leeway due to the inadvertent nature of Brady not realizing his voice was on FOX airwaves at that moment.

The FCC has statutory authority to issue fines for certain broadcast indecency violations, with a maximum of $325,000 per violation and $3 million for a single continuing act.

Despite having the legal authority to fine individuals directly in applicable situations, the FCC generally prefers to go after networks or broadcasters.

It’s not even the first time Brady has suffered technical difficulties regarding voice audio. When on the call for the Los Angeles Rams’ win over the Philadelphia Eagles last month, Brady fell silent after Kevin Burkhardt teed him up. “Okay, my fault. I have this big, clunky board, which I have all this information about what I want to say all day, and I dropped it on the talkback button,” Brady said.

“And I'm sitting here going, 'God, I can't hear anyone, you guys?' And it's my fault the whole time. So that's like a quarterback owning up to his mistake.”
